The Scion FR-S arrives in Canada delivering a passionate performance, compelling style and a truly authentic driving experience. The FR-S is an exhilarating, attainable sports car that comes straight from the heart of Toyota, reflecting heart-pumping, adrenaline racing “Waku Doki.” The FR-S comes in one loaded monospec trim, with a sporty, functional high-tech interior and a long list of available TRD accessories for maximum personalization that will be available in Fall of 2012 The development of the FR-S was prompted directly from Akio Toyoda, and is a true collaboration, with the engineering teams from both Toyota and Subaru contributing equally.

2.0 L naturally aspirated four-cylinder gas engine with Variable Valve Timing with intelligence (VVT-i) electronic fuel injection, horizontally opposed flat 4 Boxer Engine and Toyota’s D-4S direct and port injection system
- Delivers 200 net system horsepower and 151 pound-feet of torque
- Delivers remarkable combined fuel efficiency at just 8.2L/100km(MT) and 7.2L/100km (AT)

TECHNOLOGIES
|
The flat-four mates with either a six-speed manual or a six-speed automatic transmission
- Manual transmission offers quick, precise shifts with a short-throw
- Automatic transmission features aggressive up shifts and sporty rev-matched down shifts that are initiated by steering-wheel-mounted paddle shifters
- Dynamic Rev Management technology in the automatic model quickly raises the engine speed to help match engine revs to gear ratios on downshifts
- Sport Mode in the automatic model quickens shift timing as well as throttle response. In Sport Mode, the transmission holds gears longer at higher revs before upshifting
- Both transmissions have the same 4.10:1 final drive ratio
- Power is transferred to the pavement via a standard Torsen® limited-slip differential
