TORONTO, ON., (November 28, 2014) – Scion Canada’s promotion at Zoofest in Montreal has won a special marketing award that recognizes excellence in the use of sponsorships.

The award – co-organized by Festivals et Événements Québec and Loto-Québec – was won for “Scion Original,” a creativity conference at Zoofest that showcased some of the world’s most creative minds, as well as a special Zoofest event where comedians took Scion vehicles on test drives.  

Zoofest is a new festival in Montreal spotlighting emerging talents through alternative programming that includes comedy, theatre, music and other genres.

“Like our recent ‘Powering Passion’ campaign for Scion, our Zoofest sponsorship reinforces how Scion is a brand for the young and young at heart, who share a passion for cars, music and culture,” said Cyril Dimitris, Director, Scion Canada.

For the award, sponsorships were rated on originality, relevance, quality, synergies and benefits to the sponsor and the festival.
